At it’s January 10th board meeting Ashley Searing was unanimously elected to serve a three-year term. Ms. Searing grew up in Franklin County, Virginia where she played softball and volleyball.
Ashley studied Food Science and Technology at Virginia Tech and graduated in 2016. While at Virginia Tech she played club softball and served as the team’s treasurer for two years, and also served as a volunteer at the Roanoke Rescue Mission. Having accepted a position with The Hershey Company as a Food Technologist, Ms. Searing re-settled to West Hanover in 2016. She presently serves as Mission Central Volunteer with Virginia Tech Alumni Club as well as a Project Fellowship volunteer with the Milton Hershey School.
