Why Many early adolescent youth choose not to participate in traditional youth sport due to time constraints, transportation limitations or lack of enjoyment. Consequently, physical activity decreases dramatically during early adolescence with less than 50% getting a minimum of 60-minutes of

physical activity per day as recommended by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.  When kids become sedentary, they lose the opportunity to experience the many physical, health,  social and developmental benefits that are gained by participation in physical activity.

HowPlay Fit is designed to be easier to play, non-competitive & non-contact, as well as to promote positive socialization.  The program addresses structural barriers to experiencing sports as fun.  PlayFit games rotate weekly and alternate 8-minute periods of play with 2-minute breaks to provide 45-minutes of activity per session.

Ultimate Frisbee
The object of the game is to pass the disc to a player in the end-zone.
