The winner will be announced at the HHS Senior Awards Ceremony in May 2024.
The Joy of Sports Foundation is pleased to offer two $1000 Triple- Impact Competitor Scholarship Awards again this year.
Two Awards of $1000 each will be granted in 2024 to two Hershey High School Senior Athletes who model the critter of a Triple-Impact Competitor.
Award Criteria:
- Makes oneself better (Personal Mastery)
- Makes teammates better (Leadership)
- Makes the sport better (Honoring the Game – respecting the rules, opponents, officials, teammates, and self)
Application Process
Athletes need to complete the online form (below) AND send the reference link to three references including one teacher, one coach and one teammate. The Athlete application and the three reference applications must be submitted by April 5 11:59 pm for your application to be considered complete. Applications can only be submitted online. No paper submissions will be accepted.

Selection Process
Two winners will be selected by the JSF Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Selection Committee.
Notification
Winners of the 2024 Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarships will be announced at the HHS Annual Senior Awards night.
Athlete Essay Prompts
As part of the online application process you will be asked to provide your response to the following 3 essay prompts:
1) As an athlete, how do you make yourself better?
2) What do you do to make your teammates better?
3) How do you Honor The Game (respecting the rules, opponents, officials, teammates, and self)?
References
You will need three references. Each of your three references will need to complete and submit the reference form by April 5th in order for your application to be considered. You will need a reference, one individual, from each of the three categories listed below who is familiar with you as a student-athlete and is able to speak to your embodiment of the Triple-Impact Competitor principles:
1) A teammate, competitor, or referee
2) A school administrator, teacher, or counselor
3) A coach
